Glass House opening - 24th May 2008
Our new Glass House Bistro was today at 10am, opened by the new Mayor of Scarborough Eileen Vickers (see picture below). The cafe is now open for business and the bistro will be open in a few weeks.

In the meantime, our pedal boats, water chute and station building are all proving popular with customers.
The railway has recently had its shed extension built (see picture below) and this will be useful in the future for maintenance work and storage. Robin Hood, our 4-6-4 Tank engine is due to have works on its wheels in the near future and should be back in service in the summer.
Shop Update - 27th April 2008

Here are two inside views of our station building and shop.We sell a wide range of souvenirs, ranging from those of the North Bay Railway to Thomas the Tank Engine.
Sweets and drinks are also avaliable.
We will be adding more items to our shop in the near future.
Our historic water chute also saw use for the first time this year yesterday. Originally opened in 1932, the chute will be operating on Weekends and Bank Holidays.
